Lady Pintos Improve to 7-1 with 2-0 Shutout of Belen

Janessa Torres netted a brace and Moriarty’s defense clamped down as the Lady Pintos shut out Belen 2-0 on Thursday. With 27 goals through just seven games, Torres continues to pace the state in scoring. Junior keeper McKayla Miller preserved the clean sheet with four saves, bringing her season total to 38. Now 7-1, Moriarty heads south Saturday for a matchup against Artesia (8-3-1) and sophomore goalkeeper Leila Irvin (37 saves).
