EMHS and Cottonwood Classical Partner for Joint Golf Fundraiser at Los Altos

Sandia Park — In a display of regional athletic collaboration, East Mountain High School (EMHS) and Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School (CCPS) have announced a joint Golf Fundraiser Tournament to be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The high-profile event will bring together community members, local business leaders, and golf enthusiasts at the historic Los Altos Golf Course for an immersive, competitive day of golf structured around a dynamic 4-Man Scramble format.

The joint endeavor aims to secure critical funding to support the expanding golf programs at both institutions, helping to ensure student-athletes receive high-quality equipment, professional training resources, and necessary tournament transport for their upcoming competitive seasons. Registration is officially open to both complete teams and single individual competitors who wish to be assigned a foursome.

TOURNAMENT ITINERARY & DETAILS:

• 7:00 AM – 7:50 AM: Check-in and Player Warm-ups
• 8:00 AM: Official Shotgun Start
• 12:45 PM – 1:30 PM: Post-Tournament Lunch, Awards Ceremony, and Social Hour
• Location: Los Altos Golf Course, Albuquerque, NM
• Registration Entry Fees: $500 per 4-Man Team | $150 per Individual Player
• Tournament Extras: Mulligans available for purchase at $5 each

The post-tournament luncheon will highlight top performances with official competition awards including 1st Place, Runner-Up, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Drive, alongside community-sponsored Door Prizes and a Grand Raffle Drawing.
