East Mountain HS Teams up with Barnes & Noble for Community Bookfair

Sandia Park — East Mountain High School is inviting the community to turn the page on a new fundraising chapter. On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the school will host a dedicated Bookfair at the Barnes & Noble in Coronado Center to raise essential funds for student programs and school initiatives.
The event, which runs from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, offers a unique way for local residents to support education while indulging their love of reading. A percentage of all net sales made during the event will be contributed directly back to East Mountain High School.
How to Participate
Supporting the cause is simple, but shoppers need to come prepared. To ensure their purchase counts toward the fundraiser, customers must:
- Present the official Bookfair voucher (Bookfair ID: 12938254) at the time of checkout.
- Shop during the designated hours at the Coronado Center location.
- Note: Certain exclusions apply, including gift cards, textbooks, digital devices (like NOOK®), and purchases made at in-store Starbucks Cafés.
Building a Brighter Future
Fundraisers like these are vital for charter and local schools to bridge the gap for extracurricular activities, library updates, and classroom supplies. By hosting the event at the Coronado Mall location (6600 Menaul Blvd NE), the school hopes to draw in both loyal “Timberwolf” families and weekend shoppers looking for their next great read.
“A percentage of your Barnes & Noble purchases will benefit our school/organization,” the event flyer states, emphasizing the direct impact every book, puzzle, or journal purchase can have on student success.
