The Moriarty High School Pintos wrestling team proved their depth and aggression on Saturday, putting together a 3-2 record. The Pintos relied on a barrage of early pins and consistent scoring in the middle weights to overpower Albuquerque High, Grants, and Pecos.

Lightning-Fast Pins Lead the Way

Moriarty set the tone early in the event with a 48-23 victory over Albuquerque High. The highlight of the opening round was a staggering performance by Lucas Rodelas Lozoya at 144 pounds, who needed only 12 seconds to secure a fall.
