Crossroads Training Center Announces Empowering Spring 2026 Course Lineup

TIJERAS – The Crossroads Training Center has officially pulled back the curtain on its Spring 2026 semester, offering a robust schedule of educational and life-skills programming designed to foster personal growth and community success. Located at the intersection of NM-333 and NM-337, the center continues its mission of partnering with individuals to overcome life’s obstacles through mentorship and practical education.
This semester’s curriculum is split into two primary formats: comprehensive 8-week courses and targeted one-time topical workshops.
8-Week Immersive Courses
Starting the first week of March, the center will host five specialized courses focused on academic support, relationship building, and communication:
- Academic & Life Skills: The GED Studies Support Group meets Mondays (6:30–8:00 PM) to help students prepare for the GED exam across all core subjects.
- Interpersonal Growth: Two key courses also held on Monday nights include Boundaries: Building Healthy Relationships, based on the principles of Dr. Henry Cloud, and Love & Logic Parenting, which provides practical strategies for ending power struggles with children.
- Language & Communication: On Wednesdays (4:00–5:30 PM), the center offers Intro to Conversational Spanish. On Thursdays (4:00–5:30 PM), students can attend Intro to Sign Language, a course designed to bridge communication gaps with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community.

One-Time “Saturday Skill-Up” Workshops
For those with busy schedules, the center is offering 2-hour stand-alone sessions throughout the spring. These practical workshops cover a wide array of domestic and emergency skills:

| Feb 28 | 2–4 PM | Winter Survival Car Kit: Essential items for roadside emergencies. |
| March 21 | 10–12 PM | Let’s Make a Pie (Crust): Master the “never-fail” crust recipe. |
