East Mountain Wins District 5 Little League Title

The only thing hotter than the 103-degree temperature on Wednesday was East Mountain’s (9-11) softball team as the local All-Stars pounded their way to the District 5 championship with a 20-5 against Los Alamos.

The victory earns the East Mountain All-Stars a spot in the state tournament on July 10 in Los Lunas.
