PIRATE AND VIKING SUMMER FESTIVAL SEEKS CRAFT VENDORS AHEAD OF AUGUST EVENT

EDGEWOOD — Organizers of the upcoming Pirate & Viking Summer Festival are officially opening applications for new craft vendors, anticipating a massive turnout for the two-day event scheduled later this August.

Festival coordinators project a crowd of 8,000 to 10,000 attendees for the weekend gather, which is set to take place at the Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood, New Mexico. The event will run Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

While returning vendors have already begun securing their spots, organizers emphasize that new artisans and crafters are welcome to apply to fill the remaining openings. Prospective vendors are encouraged to showcase their unique creations and align their booths with either a pirate or Viking theme to match the historical and fantasy elements of the weekend. Examples of envisioned setups include “Salty Seas Creations” for pirate-themed booths and “Northern Hammer Works” for Norse-inspired displays.

Interested vendors are instructed to contact organizers via email at nmrenfest@gmail.com to submit their applications, detail what they offer, and describe how their booths will be decorated.

Organizers promise a weekend dedicated to creativity, community, and fun, blending the worlds of high-seas adventure and Norse lore for festival-goers of all ages.
